In addition to holding the minimum requirement of a Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (CPP41119), Dave is also a RPEQ Engineer, Registered Builder (Open), Project Manager, Civil/Building Designer.
Dave is a Registered Engineer and builder with over 35 years’ experience in the civil construction industry and has also worked extensively in Local Government. His in-depth knowledge of the ever-evolving legislative frameworks means he can easily identify and advise on challenges as they occur.
Dave is proficient in the latest ratings software for residential and commercial assessments, and is predominantly responsible for assessments for Commercials, Deemed to Satisfy (DTS) and Firstrate5. With a keen eye for business, Dave also oversees Q-BEARS business systems and processes.
Alina is a qualified Business Administrator with Diplomas in Project Management and Local Government and has a broad range of experience across Local Government, IT/Telecommunications, Bulk Grains and Architecture industries for 35+ years.
When Alina isn’t busy undertaking assessments, she is dedicated to system and process improvements across the business.
All Q-BEARS Assessors hold a current Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (CPP41119) in addition to many other industry related qualifications. Our Assessors are accredited members of HERA (House Energy Raters Association) and each hold professional indemnity insurance with HERA.
